Karina is from Colombia, a country well known for the warmth and friendliness of its people. She studied Business Administration but later discovered her passion for languages. This led her to earn her ELE certification to teach Spanish. She has also completed several courses in pedagogical and technological tools for education. She loves traveling the world and enjoys helping students learn and improve their Spanish. Karina has over 5 years of experience teaching Spanish.

I have over 7 years of experience teaching Spanish as a second language in private lessons. I’ve also worked as a teaching assistant for English and content-based instruction.

I hold certifications from the Instituto Cervantes as a Spanish as a Foreign Language teacher, as well as a TEFL certificate.

I love traveling, writing, and reading. I also enjoy yoga, movies, and technology.

I had the opportunity to reinvent my career and gain experience in language teaching by working as a teaching assistant and giving private lessons on my own in several Latin American countries, which has been an incredibly enriching experience.
