SPANISH TEACHER
La docencia no quiere adeptos, quiere amantes.
Nationality: Spanish
Languages: Spanish, English, and a bit of Korean.
About
I am passionate about teaching, with more than ten years of experience in different educational settings, which has allowed me to work in diverse environments and adapt my methods to my students’ needs.
I enjoy developing activities that make grammar explanations more engaging and help create a relaxed classroom atmosphere that fosters motivation and learning.
- Education
I hold a degree in History from the University of Santiago de Compostela, specializing in Ancient History and Archaeology, a field in which I also hold a Master’s degree and a Diploma of Advanced Studies.
In 2013, I decided to focus my training on teaching Spanish as a foreign language, so I became accredited as a teacher and DELE examiner by the Cervantes Institute.

- Work Experience
My teaching experience covers different areas: from formal education (in the field of Social Sciences) to remedial and support classes (Latin and Greek).
However, what currently defines me as a teacher is teaching Spanish as a foreign language: I have been in this exciting field since 2014, and I currently work as an online teacher.
In addition, I am a DELE examiner for the speaking and interaction tests.

- Certifications
I am accredited as a DELE examiner for all levels. I also hold several certificates in the field of education, both at a general level and in the teaching of Spanish: teaching qualification (CAP), development of teaching competencies, CLIL approach, Flipped Classroom, and Spanish for specific purposes.
- Curiosity
When I have free time, I enjoy spending time in the mountains. I have swapped the landscapes of my native Galicia for the hiking trails surrounding Seoul, my new adopted city. But walking is the same everywhere: it’s just a matter of putting one foot in front of the other. And the same applies to languages.
